Syvia Eisenberg, 104, Scranton, died Wednesday at home. She was the widow of Joseph Eisenberg who died in 2002.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Reuben and Rachel Gottesman Gildar.
She is survived by children Dr. David Eisenberg (Laura), and Brauna Fortgang (Marvin); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by daughters Syma Blum, Debby Eisenberg, son Dr. Louis Eisenberg; and sister Marion Steingart Birnbaum.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 6th, at 1:00 p.m.in the funeral home by Rabbi Fine.
Friends and family may pay their respects from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Interment to follow in Dalton Jewish Cemetery.
