Janina E. Nissel, 76, of Scranton died Sunday at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton.
Born in Byton, Poland, she was the daughter of the late Jan and Clara Misiewicz. Prior to retirement, she worked as a dental assistant.
Private funeral services were held in the Dalton Jewish Cemetery by Rabbi Yehuda Salkow.
