Donald Patrick McHale, 64, of Dunmore, passed away Monday morning at home with his loving wife Michele and his son Sean by his side.
He was the son of the late Angela Rinaldi. He was a graduate of Holy Cross High School, class of 1976. He was a member of St. Anthony’s church in Dunmore. He was a truck driver with several companies throughout the years. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend who always put others before himself.
Donald loved watching old westerns with his little dog Marley by his side. He loved to cook and made the best hot wings you could ever taste. Traveling, going antiquing, and spending time with his grandson were his passions. He bravely took on his cancer with courage and determination fighting every day.
Also surviving are a son, Sean P. McHale and wife Amanda; one sister, Carole; two brothers, Richard and his wife Kim; Gregory and his wife Jyrene; several nieces and nephews; and grandson Cade.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Jason McHale; wife, Nancy McHale; mother, Angela McHale and father-in-law, Michael Gianzanti
The funeral will be Saturday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore with a mass at 9:30 am in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Smith St., Dunmore.
Interment is private at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call Friday from 4-7pm at the funeral home.
